Location: the hotel was close enough to all main sites, Central Kyoto, and the buses and trains. There was Beppinya nearby, offering quick meals. We were upgraded to a room which was good-sized. There was comfortable bed, central heating, a safe, and television.

Wonderful little ryokan in the heart of Kyoto. The room was very clean, with comfortable futon beds and a small but functional bathroom. I loved the extra touches like the pyjamas, hot drinks provided, and little gifts. The location was perfect, with a delicious restaurant right next door and many more within walking distance. I highly recommend staying at Luck You Kyoto Bukkoji-Higashimachi.

I had a VERY NICE stay at this small hotel. the room was clean and beautiful with a shower, a hairdryer, and a bidet in the private bathroom. the location was favourable in the local area. Amazing restaurant provided Japanese dishes.

They provided us with a lot of useful information about local restaurants and cafes. Our room was spacious and clean, with a tatami and futon setup that provided an authentic Japanese experience. The thoughtful addition of a mobile phone was completely unexpected, it allowed us to stay connected during our outings.

The bathroom was very small, which made it difficult to use, especially for tall people. , there was no option for breakfast in the hotel, but there were several nearby options that were easily accessible.

You're close to everything, from great restaurants to tourist spots and buses. the non-noisy location is perfect for exploring the local area. the well-designed rooms with traditional tatami floors and futons are new and clean.
